The Sainan no Kekka Catalonia/Khushrenada family tree differs rather greatly from the one put forth in Endless Waltz. As we discount the existence of Dekim Barton and his family, that cuts off a great part of the canon family tree right there. This family tree is to dispel confusion of what is actually different from the canon series, so take note that most of the names and histories here are fictional and for the sake of SnK continuity only. For the canon Catalonia family tree (which is actually a whole lot less confusing than ours ^_~), go here.

The naming system of the Noventa family is not based on the English system of inheriting the father's last name, but rather the more complicated Spanish system of inheriting family names. Go here for a detialed explanation. The Catalonia family, being of a mixed Spanish-French background, does not use this system.

THE CATALONIAS

León Alejandro Philippe Catalonia the elder, Duke Dermail
The Duke Dermail of the series. León and Alicia Catalonia's father and Dorothy Catalonia's grandfather.

Esperanza Victoria Catalonia Khushrenada
León Catalonia Sr.'s older sister and Treize Kushrenada's grandmother.

Sergio Simón Ramirez Catalonia
León Catalonia Sr.'s younger brother and was next in line to the Dermail duchy. Killed in the war.

León Alejandro Philippe Catalonia II
The eldest son of Duke Dermail and brother to Alicia Catalonia. He marries Emily Khushrenada and is the father of Dorothy Catalonia. A forward presence in the ranks of the Federation and a great believer in stronger ties between the colonies and the Earth. Killed by colony rebels aboard a hijacked shuttle in AC 181.

Alicia Maria Ofelia Catalonia
Duke Dermail's daughter and younger sister of León Catalonia II. Attended the OZ Specials Academy at Lake Victoria and girlfriend/lover of Dermand Etille. Killed in action in Saudi Arabia in AC 177.

Dorothy Alicia Vernonique Catalonia
The daughter of León Catalonia II and Emily Khushrenada.

Dermand Laurent Etille
Not really part of the family, but the tree would not really be complete without mentioning him. Alicia's beloved and a large force on Dorothy's life in SnK.

 
THE KHUSHRENADAS

Ivan Hans-Cristof Khushrenada, Duke Renalt
Esperanza Catalonia's husband and Treize's grandfather.

Reimond Christian Khushrenada
Son of Ivan and Esperanza Kushrenada. Treize's father. Died shortly after Treize was born.

Treize Khushrenada
The son of Reimond Kushrenada and grandson of Esperanza Catalonia. Also nephew (once removed) to Emily Khushrenada, Dorothy's mother, thus making him Dorothy's cousin in more ways than one.

Aleksei Rolf Khushrenada
Brother to Ivan Khushrenada and father of Mayer, Emily, and Marie Khushrenada.

Mayer Borislav Khushrenada
Son of Rolf Khushrenada and Emily's elder brother. Dorothy meets him only once at a Christmas party before the war.

Emily Christine-Elisabeth Khushrenada Noventa, Duchess of Lorraine
Dorothy's mother and veteran of many husbands, including failed marriages to Jalbert Allaire, Comte d'Alsace and León Catalonia II. Currently married to Nícolas Noventa, Duke of Lorraine.

Marie Meglena Khushrenada
Emily's sister and first wife of León Catalonia II. Died half a year after they married.

Brother to General Ramiro Noventa and currently married to Emily Khushrenada Noventa, Dorothy Catalonia's mother.

Ramiro Noventa's wife and Sylvia Noventa's grandmother.
