Due to our busy schedules, the main SnK story will now be going on BI-WEEKLY updates. We may post sidestories and the like on the off-weeks if we feel like it, but we don't quite have the time to update every week. Sorry! This is for quality's sake, and we hope you'll understand ^_^

INFORMATION

Sainan no Kekka, meaning "Tragedy's Consequence," or "Aftermath," is a fanfiction series that explores the possibility of an alternate universe after the end of the Gundam Wing TV series. Discarding all the events of the OVA Endless Waltz, it delves into the questions the TV series left behind...particularly the question of who the Gundam pilots were to the people whom they saved.

There's no indication in the TV series that those outside the group of "informed" OZ and colony resistance members knew who the Gundam pilots actually were. The Federation soldiers simply knew them as the invincible enemy. The colonies might have thought of them as their saviors or dangerous rebels. If their identities had been found out, there would definitely have been repercussions for the colonies. After all, what sane men and women would give a fifteen-year-old boy the power to destroy the galaxy?

So what would happen if the colonies discovered the truth after the war? How would people react to the news that the colonial terrorists were boys who had acquired technology beyond the power of most adults? How would the media take the stories? And what would happen to the military and its credibility?

Sainan no Kekka answers all these questions and more. This fanfiction is epic, non-yaoi, and true to the original nature of the Gundam Wing series. With all the romantic, yaoi, and relationship Gundam Wing fanfiction on the internet, there are too few which actually involve the complicated politics and military strategy which was the actual plot. Hopefully, Sainan no Kekka stays true to the heart of the series that is Gundam Wing.

 
ORGANIZATION

Sainan no Kekka is organized into parts, called "Acts." Each Act consists of smaller sections, with one section for each main character, a "scene." An Act is over when all the main characters in the story at that point have had a scene written. The titles of each Act all come from tracks in the Gundam W Operation CD's 1-4. Each character will also have a number of sidestories to flesh out his or her experiences during each part. Updates to the main story will happen every other Saturday, unless specified otherwise on the main page.
