~ All Fics must be Fushigi Yuugi... crossovers are welcome as well (see further down) but the Seishi do not review other fandoms.
~ Fics must be final draft (we have made an exception for the first fic as this rule was not established, but as of 4/01/00 this is a rule). This includes editing for grammar and spelling- it is STRONGLY encouraged to run a piece through a spell-check before submitting it.
~ When submitting, the author consents to an honest and thorough review of their fic. The Seishi will offer both positive and negative feedback as need be.
~ If a piece is submitted, the author also consents to a link to the story.
~ Fics will only be accepted if there is a link! Do not send the text of the fic in email. The seishi review board does not host fics, just link to them.
~ The fic must be available on the internet for people who wish to see it as of the date the fic is scheduled to be reviewed- you can pre-submit fics to us, though.
~ Due to issues with Fanfiction.net, we will no longer accept stories that are posted there. If you do not have a place to put your fics on the internet we can suggest signing up for free web space at:

~ On Crossovers:
When submitting a xover, please provide a link for a general information site for the other fandom (i.e. for Sailor Moon, you might offer http://www.usagiandmamoru.com.
~ On Hentai Fics:
Hentai fics are welcome, but the process is a little different. Please email a query to seishifanfic@yahoo.com for further instructions. Not all of the Seishi review these.
The Rights the Seishi Maintain

The Seishi maintain the right to deny review of a fic without explanation- hopefully this won’t happen, but they maintain the right.
Individual Seishi have the right to deny a review- i.e. if there’s some outstanding circumstance (like Chichiri gets kidnapped and ends up wandering the streets of Philadelphia and doesn’t have a computer to access) or if they feel they have other interests. Not all fics may end up reviewed by all seishi- we’ll try our best, but we do have RL to contend with.
The Seishi maintain the right to their identities. While some of us are quite vocal, we do not wish to be identified. While it may be simple to figure out a few of us (most of us are published fic writers) we do not encourage the attempt. If you wish to get in touch with an individual seishi, please write seishifanfic@yahoo.com with the message Attn: or leave a message in the discussion forums.
The Seishi maintain the right to remove offending messages from the Message Board. As of this writing, Chiriko is nominally in charge of moderating, but hopes that won’t be necessary.
The Seishi maintain the right to discuss fics privately and not post these discussions.
The Seishi maintain the right to label a fic- i.e. “Mary Sue”, “self-insert”, “hentai” ect. if the author hasn’t already done so. Not all labels may be extremely flattering. They also may rate the fic with warnings- i.e. language, violence.
BY SUBMITTING A FIC TO THE SEISHI REVIEW BOARD, YOU MAINTAIN THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREED TO THE TERMS.

~ All fics that are received and reveiwed will be archived at our sister site, Crimson Legend.
~ Do not copy or use anything from this site without permission. Each original contribution is the property of the respective writer. It is not right to plagiarize and claim someone else's hard work as your own. This also goes for anything in the Rants and Raves section. All the insanity in there belong to Moonsong and the Seishi. Any references outside this site should be credited to us and a link provided back to this site.
~ Do not steal images. If you would like to use any of the other images found on this site, please email Moonsong at tsukinouta@yahoo.com or visit the sites on our Credits page to ask their administrators for permission as we have done. Several of the images have been edited painstakingly by Moonsong and her husband so please give credit accordingly.
~ We do keep track of which pages we are getting images from but if there is an image here which you believe is unique to your page and you have not been credited, please email Moonsong. We will research the matter either give you credit or delete it, whichever you prefer, if it is indeed yours.
~ Treat all writers, Seishi reviewers, and visitors with respect. This shouldn't even be a rule since everyone should be doing this in the first place but since we have found otherwise, it is included here.
~ Please don't flame anyone (except for Tamahome ^v^). Insults, abuse, and/or general disrespect towards anyone will not be tolerated either in the stories, the message board or any other location in this site. Any postings or submissions containing insulting, abusive, and/or offensive language will either be edited, not posted, or deleted.
