Email: sailorgotland@spray.se
Warnings: Episode 27 SPOILERS, Death-fic, a bit of language.
Type: Drama/Deathfic

Hotohori's Review Hotohori:

This is rather sad, it could have been expounded on a bit, but as brief insights into a few characters, it works rather well. The portrayal of Suboshi seemed pretty good, and you managed to capture the way Yurien acts and thinks as well. Good job!

Mitsukake's Review Mitsukake:

*glaring at the fic* "Might RELAPSE?!" Of all the-*looks up*

Ano...*cough* Review. Right.

The beginning is good-it 'catches' the reader, so to speak. A sort of look into a bit of what their normal lives and relationships might have been like, which doesn't happen too often. Tamahome's father's lines were incredibly well-written (MOST...*grumble* *mutter*), and came across every bit as mature as the character should be.

However, the segment with Suboshi's thoughts fell sort of flat. Maybe it's just because, like the infamous episode 33, this scene has been written about a LOT, but it needs a little bit of work. We just don't get a very good sense of the hate he was bound to have had, ne?

But the whole rest of the fic...there aren't words. ^_- The story manages to be told without resorting to lots of gory description, still retaining all the emotions and fears of the scene. (Not that gory descriptions are BAD in a fic, but I'm still not recovered from "To Catch A Falling Star". Scary stuff, that. @_@)

This was a great read! I don't think we've seen this author's work before...someone tell me we'll get to see more of it? ^_^

Nuriko's Review Nuriko:

I think this is the first time I've seen a fic that showed things from the viewpoint of one (or in this case, two) of Tamahome's family. Definately a change of pace, and a welcome one at that! I agree with Heika-sama, there are some parts that could have been elaborated on more. The ending seemed a bit abrupt, but then again, the scene itself would have ended abruptly had it been seen, ne?

*Wipes away a tear.* I do get emotional when I read deathfics... and while this one didn't actually portray a death, the last paragraph got to me. It was nice to see Yuiren portrayed this well.

Chichiri's Review Chichiri:

Yes! I liked this fic, sad as it was. It shows a very different point of view and very well done at that! I liked the way the characters had been given a bit of fleshing out so they come out as more than simple names and vague figures in Tamahome's past. And the conversation between Chuei and his father was especially compelling. However young Chuei was, he certainly stood up to the expectations given him.

Very well done no da!!

Tamahome's Review Tamahome:

WHHAAAAAAA! *sobs My family, all..........dead. *sniffle* Man, that one hit a personal spot. But it was good. Very sad. *blows nose* I need to find Miaka so I can cry to her. *sniffle*

Tasuki's Review Tasuki:

*eye twitches at the simpering Tamahome*

Aaargh! Act like a MAN! *works hands to resist strangling Obaka-chan* I didn’t see grammar or spelling mistakes, which is always a plus. It was nice to see more development of Obake’s family. Everyone was well in character. Something struck me as off though, maybe it needed a bit more on Suboshi at the end. At any rate, though it was good ^_-
