This definately has the beginnings of being a good fic, but it just seemed lacking to me. One thing about songfics is that the song shouldn't overcome the fic. This one just had too many lyrics with too few actual fic lines, I thought. This is definately a good idea, however, and I think that if it were taken a bit farthur, explored a bit deeper into Hikou's thoughts and feelings, the emotions that had to have been tearing at him throughout this... then it would be a VERY interesting read to say the least.
*Blinks, looking over to Chiriko.* This should be amusing...

Hmm, gotta agree with Nuriko. Too much lyrics, not enough fic. Though the lyrics matched well. Fascinating to see a Hikou fic. If we could have delved deeper into his reasons, or had a little fighting, *eyes light up* or a little sake drinking, a little banditry, some more fighting...
Wait a minute! This guy messed me up! Aaaarrrghh! $%**((&$$$##!!! It was HIS fault! Him and schmuck! *grabs a pillow and smacks Kouji with it*
Okay, I feel better now. I see why it might be hard to write Hikou, as we didn't learn much about him, and Chiri hasn't shared MUCH! SCHMUCK!! *whaps Kouji with the pillow again*
Okay, I'm better. For a songfic, it actually wasn't bad. I just coulda used more fic. *whapped out of his chair by Kouji in revenge*

Hmmm, another song fic no da. About me yet not about me.
Well, this is a slightly different angle to what seems to be the almost most written about scene in FY. (Nuriko's death I believe holds First Place in that regard no da!) Yet I have to agree there wasn't quite enough to it. Yes, there should have been a bit more anguish on Hikou's part which would have revealed more reason for him acting as he did no da.
It's a good try, just needs to be fleshed out a bit more. Hey Tasuki! Watch it with those cushions no da!!
