Chichiri's Review Chichiri:

Well no da. This has got to be the best Yaoi fic I've read. The storyline was wonderful and it drew me into it from the very start. Nuriko's entrance into the tale was perfect, also the continuing interchange between him and Tasuki.

The ending took me by surprise but it fit in well with the entire bit. I do like this fic no da!

I give it 4 kasas!

Tasuki's Review Tasuki:

*coughs, blinks, and looks around warily*

I um, have to agree with the schmuck. It was a good fic for a romancy angsty fic. Normally I'd have gone "what is this $%&^" somewhere around the "I love you!" parts, but it didn't get inta the really mushy stuff that makes me want to gnaw my own arm off ta escape. It didn't start gettin' that bad till the very end, and even that ended on a good note.

What I think is a mark of a really good writer is one that can write the actions and behavior of characters well enough ta make yah sorta sit back, blink and think "wow, they were in love" without havin' to tell yah flat out. And that's what happened here.

Of course, I'm heroic. *puffs up* Would ya expect anythin' less from the almighty Genrou? That's not hard to write about. *grins* But Nuriko was written very well too. I had ta sit back and smile at this fic. Probably the best shounen ai fic I've ever read. And from me, I think that's sayin' a bit.

Mitsukake's Review Mitsukake:

I've got to admit, when I first started reading this I was wondering if this was going to be Yet Another Random Pairing That Ranges Way Out Of Character. But I was pleasantly surprised once I got a little farther! ^_^

The author seems to have discovered something that many yaoi writers have not: you do NOT need endless declarations of love, constant making out/cuddling/etc, or twenty-five pages of "this person could never love me, blah blah..." in order to have a good story. (Come to think of it, Miaka and Tamahome did most of those things as well, and Suzaku knows THAT got irritating as all get-out after a while.) All you need is a good grasp of how the characters would act and the talent to write love without rubbing it into the reader's face.

This was wonderful and refreshing, though that's proven enough by the fact that Tasuki didn't hate it. *SNRK*

Chiriko's Review Chiriko:

WAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

MIKO NO DA!

*dances around* Glad to see! She's one of my FAVORITE authors.... I give this 5 kasas..... I already read it at Yaoi no Hentais (ignores looks and glare from Nuriko, who is saying that his ototo is too young to hang out there), but it's definitely worth a second go-through.

I simply adore Miko no da-san because not ONLY are her pieces well-edited, formatted for easy reading, and creative, but she knows how to WRITE. A plot is apparent- By Suzaku, I love that in my yaoi. *revels in it for a second before ducking an irate Tamahome, who is encouraging him to get ON with it*

The Nuriko/Tasuki pairing has become more and more popular as time progresses, but aside from ep 27 (and ep 33 to a certain extent, to me, at least) Tas and Nuriko don't really display that kind of relationship potential to me. The canon of FY fic doesn't give TIME for romance (aside from the endless miaka/tamahome's we're subjected to), so... what to do? *g* I love the expanded end of the series, though it does strike me as a touch pat for Tas to die. And poor Chi....

^_~ Anyway, this is a must read.
