Nuriko's Review Nuriko:

*Flips through the fic once more* Hmmm... I like the idea, most definately, but this just seemed a bit confusing to me. It took me reading it twice before I realized that this must have happened sometime after the end of the series. While it's good to see a fic about Chiriko (even indirectly), this one could have been fleshed out a bit more, I think. It just seemed to be missing something from the entire story...

While the beginning of it centered on Amiboshi's remorse over taking Chiriko's place, it seemed to drift off into other areas after that, then come back to it at the end. Not sure if that was the intention, but that seemed to be the focal point of the fic and it kind of got muddled there for a bit.

It was still a good fic, it just didn't catch hold of me very well.

Tasuki's Review Tasuki:

I like the Amiboshi/Chiriko concept. And it's not based off the overused "I ruined the ceremony" thingie. It's the "I stole your name" thingie, which is a new one. Though it did wander to the "my brother has been very bad" thingie, taking away from the Chiriko focus.

And it was an Amiboshi point of view that wasn't just the same old tired stuff. I agree with Nuriko it could used a bit more fleshing out, though I'm not sure what could have been added. I'm sure Squirt woulda understood, ne?

I liked this one for its originality with an old subject, which isn't easy. And I'm sure Chiriko appreciates the apology. Ne, Squirt? *nudges Chiriko*

Chichiri's Review Chichiri:

Hai, this is an enjoyable fic, but it could be even more so if a bit more was added. It seemed to end just when the reader is getting into the tale no da.

The part where Amboshi is describing his guilt from his actions and that of his brother's could have been delved in just a bit more. It's good but it has the flavor of being a bit too quickly passed over na no da.

The bit of poetry at the end is a nice touch though and it goes well with the fic.

A good fic, Lady Shinnite, but just a bit short no da!
