Type: Poem

Mitsukake's Review Mitsukake:

This is, without a doubt, the single greatest fandom-related poem I've ever come across. Not so long that it leaves you wanting to skim over it, but not so short that it has no feeling behind it. The style of the work has a feeling of letting go, almost acceptance of what had to happen. The abrupt ending, in particular, leaves you staring, stunned, at your screen for several seconds while the whole work sinks in. I want to say more about it, but really, there isn't anything else to say that can be said in words.

Except, of course: Excellent work, Arashi-san. You have taken a genre that's normally full of a lot of trash, and you have produced something very rare-a good, simple, emotional poem. You've done well, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Chichiri's Review Chichiri:

I am really impressed with this poem. This is about the third time I've read it and it still makes my throat tighten up a bit, it's that simple and beautiful no da.

It's surprising how much emotion is put into those few lines, but I think it conveys Chiriko's personality perfectly.

This reminds me of an exquisite flower arrangement no da. The very best ones consist of just a few branches and blossoms, any more would be too much.

And the same can be said of this poem. Excellent and enjoyable work!!

Chiriko's Review Chiriko:

I'm with these three- wonderful, wonderful piece. It reads well, and I actually read it outloud- something I rarely bother doing.

Poetry for FY is so hard to write. It's tempting to be sentimental, and we focus on the key aspects. For some reason, my death probably gets the most poetry written about it- too bad, because I get TIRED of dying over and over and over again....

All kidding aside, I simply can't find ANYTHING to complain about. So if you're reading this review and haven't read the poem yet- GO DO THAT! DO YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND ME?

*Chiriko looks down at his feet when he notices everyone staring at him*

Um, guys? We still doing kasas? I give this piece six kasas out of five.... ^_~ It's so damn good I have to steal the extra kasa off Chichiri's back!

Nuriko's Review Nuriko:

I definately agree with my brother seishi here. Wonderful poem, and it actually managed to make me cry. Not many fanworks can do that at all. I can count them on one hand, really.

If this author has any other works, I'd definately love to see them! *Looks over at the yelling Chiriko* Easy, squirt, we read it!

Tamahome's Review Tamahome:

Not much more to say, but great work. I don't care for most fan poems, but this really touched me. Wow.

*looks at Chiriko* Oh, great, the kid's wired again... ^_^;

Tasuki's Review Tasuki:

Wow, all I can say is @#$&*^# wow. It's short but the amount of meaning it has just punches you in the face when you finish reading it. The last lines are the killer. This is just...wow. About time the Squirt got something that just amazes us all.

Hotohori's Review Hotohori:

Wow. That's about the only word that comes to mind after reading this. It's short and simple, but it gets it's meaning across elequently. It's nice to find something this good that focuses on Chiriko. Great work.
